Jim Gemus is a strategic and purpose driven executive with exceptional general management, distribution and product experience with a record of financial wellness innovation and business transformation. An executive who has held a series of senior positions with two Fortune 100 insurance and financial services firms. He has led large P&Ls, launched successful innovative product categories and strengthened major businesses. He is known for building cohesive, high performing teams and developing diverse leaders.
Jim is currently the CEO and Founder of Eagle View Advisors, LLC - an employee benefits and leadership/business management consulting company. He is also an Advisor to Aniline Inc - an AI and data driven platform for HR professionals and their service providers. In addition, he is on the Advisory Board of Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation.
Over almost 14 years at Prudential’s Group Insurance Business, Jim has had a diverse portfolio of product, distribution, business segment and P&L leadership roles, also introducing a series of innovative Life, Disability, Voluntary Benefit and Financial Wellness product capabilities. While strengthening Prudential’s market position, partnerships and growth in revenue and earnings, he also built high performing teams and developed multiple senior leaders.
Prior to joining Prudential, he was with MetLife where he served in a number of senior roles, including leader of Institutional Business Service, eBusiness/Digital, Voluntary Benefits and strategy/technology governance/reengineering for all MetLife Businesses. Earlier in his career Jim spent time in distribution leadership, sales/account management and underwriting positions.
Jim also served on multiple Boards of Directors, including: Texas Life (Chairman), Metlife Auto & Home, Metropolitan Washington - Baltimore USO and American Benefits Council. He has a passion for supporting active service members and veterans. As chairman of the finance committee, Jim played a critical roll in building a church in his local community.
